About Us

The Foundation was established in 2020 in order to provide the ideal framework for the philanthropic projects of Christian Algot Enevoldsen and his family.

Prior to establishing the Foundation, Christian Algot Enevoldsen and his family have been involved in philanthropic work on a project basis. The Foundation allows the further development of the family’s philanthropy through enhanced governance, resources, infrastructure and transparency.

ECCA Family Foundation works within four designated focus areas, Environment, Education, Community, and Arts and Culture, which are particularly important for Christian Algot Enevoldsen and his family. Within each area we seek to contribute to positive change in accordance with our Principles and Values.

Partnership-focused

Whenever possible, we strive to establish partnerships with relevant, competent organizations who share our values. We do this because we are eager to learn and because it’s a good way to increase our impact.

Innovative

We are looking for new methods and new tools, searching for ways to do things better. We explore technological advances and try to monitor the shifts and changes, which can benefit what we do.

Pragmatic

We decide the right approach from project to project. We work across a wide range of focus areas, each significantly different from the next, and each requiring an individual approach in order to have the best chance of success. We keep an open mind and limit ourselves as little as possible.

Learning

We believe in a sandbox approach. We want to test and try rather than plan everything in advance. We want to learn from our successes as well as from our mistakes and we value the evidence and experience we acquire along the way.

The Foundation was established in 2020 in order to provide the ideal framework for the philanthropic projects of Christian Algot Enevoldsen and his family. The family’s means come from the global jewelry brand, Pandora, founded by Christian Algot Enevoldsen’s parents.

Organization

ECCA Family Foundation is a Company Limited by Guarantee incorporated in Singapore and in the process of applying for the light-touch grantmakers regime with Singapore Commisssioner of Charities.

Contact

The projects which the ECCA Family Foundation chooses to engage in are selected and often designed, at least in part, by the foundation itself. This means that it’s currently not possible to apply to the foundation.
