The endlessly fascinating nature around us is essential for us if we are to thrive as people. Without a conscious, dedicated and multi-facetted effort however, we are in the process of losing that irreplaceable resource. At ECCA Family Foundation we aim to contribute to preventing that.
We focus on preserving our global ecosystems, especially the oceans and forests and on protecting biodiversity, as well as on renewable energy and energy storage.
We do so by applying innovative technology-driven solutions, by contributing to increase knowledge and understanding of these complex problems and by raising awareness through partnerships with essential stakeholders.
Environmental projects
AVPN – Marine Pollution
In December 2019, the ECCA Family Foundation collaborated with The Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) to launch a report titled “Surfacing Innovative Solutions for Reducing Marine Plastic Pollution”.
The Incubation Network
In September 2020, The ECCA Family Foundation entered into a partnership with The Incubation Network (TIN), providing 2 million USD in multi-year funding.
