About this project
In September 2020, The ECCA Family Foundation entered into a partnership with The Incubation Network (TIN), providing 2 million USD in multi-year funding which will contribute towards creating new and resilient waste systems by developing, promoting, and investing in technologies, business models, and entrepreneurs that prevent ocean plastic waste and create more circular economies in Southeast Asia.
The ECCA Family Foundation sees this partnership as an opportunity to expand and scale up TIN’s programming to Thailand, which is a jurisdiction of focus for the Foundation. Through this partnership, ECCA will support TIN in their efforts as they draw on their global network tools, materials and infrastructure in ways that are locally specific and targeted to the needs of Thailand.
We are excited to partner with TIN on this initiative, as we strongly believe in their innovative approach towards reducing leakage of plastic into the oceans, improving livelihoods of people working in waste, and ultimately to support transitions towards circular economies, inclusive markets, and resilient cities.
